LIONS  CLUB VANTAA / ETELÄ  ("ETELÄ" means "SOUTH) is part of district MD 107 N

 

Lions Club Vantaa / Etelä  was founded in the city of Vantaa, Finland in 1971. Vantaa belongs to the Metropolitan Area of Helsinki and has about 210 000 inhabitants. The Lions Club is working in the western part of Vantaa.

 

The main activity since year 1987 of the Club is the (near the end of the street Haltiantie, about 500 metres from the commuter rail station of Louhela). The Course is open every day from beginning of May to beginning of September.

 

 

Another regular activity is a skiing competition for kids aged between four and eight years. The competition (“”)  will usually be held  in the beginning of March. The venue is the Mini-golf course and its surroundings.

 

There are several minor activities in the working schedule as well.

 

The Club has three Twin clubs, one in Finland LC Joutsa (MD 107 G) and two abroad, 

LC Istanbul Marmara (MD 118 E) in Turkey and LC Stabekk (MD 104H) in Norway.
